ORIGIN STORY
While training and playing professionally in Brazil, Elliot came across a small rubber ball used for technical training.
During pre-season, for two weeks, Elliot’s professional Brazilian futbol team (Associação Atlética Aparecidense) ran fitness drills and trained exclusively with the small weighted rubber ball (riobol).
They did not touch a soccer ball for two weeks!
These are the most skilled players in the world and they were doing nothing more than riobol skill drills and speed and agility training. By the end of those two weeks every player had developed instinctive ball control and a hunger for the game.

When Elliot returned home we knew we needed to bring this Brasilian technical training innovation home, and
RIOBOL was born!

We love the beautiful game - free expression of individual personality within a team environment. Our philosophy is that it takes a confident and creative player to solve the dynamic and fast moving problems presented in the heat of a match. Instinctive ball control is the necessary foundation for that confidence and creativity. Not having to think of how you are going to control the ball - mindless control - allows the rest of the processing unit (read: brain) to observe, calculate and react. RIOBOL is simply the best tool we have come across for building that kind of control.
We want to help every player create their vision out on the pitch. Can you imagine an entire team playing with control, confidence, and creativity? We can, and we think that’s beautiful.
